Holy spirit baptism

The Holy Spirit is the third person (not in rank or order) of the Trinty.

Mathhew 28:19, Genesis 1:1-2, Luke 3:21-22

The Holy Spirit can be received by all who believe in Jesus.

Acts 2:38-39, John 14:16-17

The baptism of the Holy Spirit is a separate and distinct experience from salvation, but can be received same time as salvation.

Holy Spirit is given by Grace, not earned by works.

Galatians 3:1-6, Luke 11:9-13

​

Receiving the Holy Spirit brings miraculous power.

Receiving the Holy Spirit enables us to do same things Jesus did and greater.

John 14:12-14, Acts 10:38, Isaiah 11:1-2, Luke 4:16-18

Holy Spirit is the parakletos (Greek)- Comforter, Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby.
