Divine Healing Commission Tenets

We believe God heals because of compassion and because He has declared His name to be The Healer 'for I am THE LORD that health thee' Exodus 15:26. The New Testament fact is that He has ALREADY healed us - 'by His stripes ye were healed' 1 Peter 2:24

1. We believe that divine healing is the right and responsibility of every Christian. (Luke 4:18-19, Mark16:16-18, Matthew 10:7-8, James 5:14-15, Isaiah 53, Matthew 8:17, 1 Peter 2:24, 2 Peter 1:3-4)

2. We believe that any hindrance to the healing of any Christian is not of God. (Acts 10:38, John 10:10, psalms 103:3-6)

3. We believe that God is not our problem, but rather that He is our help. (John 10:10, Markk 16:30)

4. We believe that any hindrance to healing is on the part of the enemy. (Acts 10:38, Luke 10:19)

5. We believe that any sickness or disease can be overcome by a Christian if the Christian will exercise faith and power. (2 Cor 10:3-6, Eph 6:10-18, 2 Corinthians 2:14, 1 John 5:4-5, 14)

6. We believe that the enemy is not a serious hindrance and can be overcome by any Christian using the available tools and weapons provided by God. (2 Cor 10:3-6, Eph 6:10-18, Mark 11:22-24, Hebrews 11:1, 6, 2 Corinthians 5:7)

7. We believe that the enemy can only be truly defeated by spiritual weapons and not by carnal/natural weapons devised by man. (2 Cor 10:3-6, Eph 6:10-18)

8. We believe that Christians and non-Christians, without faith for healing, can be healed when Christians exercise kingdom authority. (John 14:12-14, Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:16-20, Luke 10:19, Matthew 10:7-8, Acts 5:6, 28:9)

9. We believe that all sickness and disease is a work of the enemy and is to be defeated whenever and wherever it is encountered. (Luke 4:18-19, Acts 10:30, John 10:10)
